That Which I Have Committed

A bank is under no obligation to keep funds that I have not deposited in that bank. It makes perfect sense that the Lord is under no obligation to keep anything that I have withheld from Him. It is vitally important that we give our hearts and lives to Him. But all I have to give Him just now is this moment. If I do not give Him my moments I have given Him nothing. It is vitally important that we give Him every moment. It is vitally important that we give Him control. It is vitally important that we give Him our attention. It is vitally important that we give Him our thoughts. It is vitally important that we give Him our energy. It is vitally important that we serve Him. It is vitally important that we study and obey His words to us, especially His Words in the Bible. It is vitally important that I commit my deeds and actions to Him. It is vitally important that we withhold nothing from Him.

John 17:12: While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

1 Peter 1:3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
